N E X T J O U R N E Y . O R G

It may seem odd to take a vacation in the dead of Winter to a spot so frigid that frozen meat and fish can be sold at outside markets while produce must be carefully protected from freezing. But more than a good rest, what I look for while traveling is a different life I can borrow for a few days. And in that respect, my trip to Harbin and Beijing in January 2005 was magnificent.
